About Me

I am a multi-hyphenate artist and educator with over two decades of professional experience in the performing arts and fifteen years in higher education. My teaching and creative scholarship are marked by a strongly interdisciplinary approach, encompassing Theatre, Film, Literature, and other topics in the arts and humanities.

As a writer, my original plays have been produced in New York, London, and Chicago, and several of my scripts have been produced as short films and new media productions.

As a performer, I have appeared on stages across the country, recently as the title role in Macbeth at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, and in numerous films, commercials, and video games, including two major titles for Rock Star Games.

Recent/current projects include writing and producing the short film “K/O,” a new play composed during an artist residency at Ragdale, a growing collection of original theatrical études, multiple feature screenplays (several placing highly in major competitions), and Quite Useless, a podcast about art and its role in our lives.
